The Legacy is a square dance club, founded in August 2022, of individuals who are dedicated to enjoying and preserving the art of dance and movement. In order to fulfill this goal, the community needs a venue for events and education, designed for dance and movement, available and affordable.  This is The Legacy Dream!

·        Fall Fund Raiser Report

We are pleased to announce that our 2024 Donation Fund Raiser was a big success!  We netted $4000.00 for our dream fund.

This year we are hoping to participate in Colorado Gives Day, Dec. 9, 2025.  At the present we are enrolling and planning.  ColoradoGives.org is a wonderful organization helping non-profits and tax exempt organization, like The Legacy reach out to philanthropic donors.  They are a tremedous asset to the nonprofit community.... established, experienced, trusted.  We will have more details here on how YOU can be part of the Dec 9th Day of Giving.

 

·        Annual Meeting Coming in November

The Legacy will hold its Annual Meeting in November 2025. 

 This will be our 4th Annual meeting and we are planning a fun get together with food, music, news and important discussions and VOTES!  Please check back to learn details and mark your calendars. 

·       Holiday Dance

At this time we are not planning on a Holiday Dance.......but that could change anytime so be sure to stay tuned.

·        New Visitors

If you are not a square or round dancer but somehow found your way to this site and would like to know more about our plans or ask if your group could be included,  please call Dolores at 970-223-3799. PLEASE help us spread the word of our mission in our dancing community. We are searching for sponsors, benefactors and grants and eager to meet YOU!
