The Legacy Front Range Square Dance Center, Inc.

   The Legacy is a new club, founded in August 2022. It consists of  individuals who are dedicated to enjoying and preserving the art of dance. In order to fulfill this, the dance community needs a venue for events and education, designed for dance, available and affordable.  Raising money to fulfill this dream is the goal of The Legacy.

To accomplish this goal we are:

• Conducting a membership drive for individuals.
• Carrying out fund-raising projects.
• Seeking donors to assist us in making this dream a reality.
• Searching for a location to either build or renovate a facility to create a shared venue for square, round and all dancers.
• Researching grant opportunities.

Founded August, 2022, The Legacy, Front Range Square Dance Center, Inc. is a member of the Mountains and Plains Square Dance Council, Colorado State Square Dancers Association, the United Square Dancers of America.  It is also a registered Colorado non-profit corporation and a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Tax-Exempt organization under the United Square Dancers of America (GEN) 6387.I

As of January 2024, our membership drive is back on in full swing.  Once again this year the annual Dues (Jan-Dec) are $5.00 per dancer.  Your dues help support the Legacy dream of having a great dance venue to share with all dance and movement groups, and are a way for you, as an individual, to "be counted" among the dreamers.

We are looking for more great fundraising projects for this year. If you have an idea please contact Dolores at   970-223-3799 to discuss your idea and how you think it can be implemented.
