We are a Council of Clubs in the northeast area of Colorado, southern Wyoming and the panhandle of Nebraska. We belong to the Colorado State Square Dance Association and the United Square Dancers of America. We dance on select 5th Saturdays or 5th Sundays during the year in support of the area clubs listed here on this web page.
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public in the benefits of enjoying square and round dancing, Colorado's official Folk Dances. We dance in support of all our clubs and the Colorado State Square Dance Festival promotions each year.
Our next dance will be held on Sunday, March 23rd from 2:00 to 4:30 at the Windsor Community Center. We are going to try a new format, a combination of a square dance (experienced dancers) with a community dance (new dancers) for anyone that wants to come. At the beginning the two groups will be in separate rooms with separate callers. Towards the end of the timeframe, the two groups will be combined into one room to dance together. Admission is free for new dancers.
Our officers for 2025 are:
President – Lonnie and Sandy Keyser
Vice President – Dennis Hellmer
Treasurer – Jeri Frederick
Secretary – Bruce & Barbara Beyers
Senior Rep – Dan and Elizabeth Romero
Junior Rep – Doug Race and Robyn Phillips
