Guidelines for Nominations to the DAS&RDC Hall of Fame

Nominees for the Hall of Fame must have been active in square and/or round dance activities in the Denver area for at least ten (10) years.
Nominees should be those dancers, callers or round dance leaders whose contributions over an extended period of time have been of an extraordinary nature.  Nominees must meet the criteria established by the Hall of Fame Committee based on the nomination form, with a minimum of five hundred (500) points, which was the average number of points scored by those who were current members of the Hall of Fame as of April, 1985.  

There shall be no limit to the number of nominees, but no more than two (2) nominees will be selected to receive the award in one year.
A nominee may be an individual or a couple.

Nominees shall be considered for the award only in the year in which they are nominated.  Names of unsuccessful nominees will not be carried over to a future year for consideration; however, there is no limit to the number of times one may be nominated and receive equal consideration.  Nominees need not be a member of the Council club at the time of nomination. 

Immediate Past Presidents are not eligible for nomination.

All Nominations must be received by the end of the 1st November  DAS & RDC Council Meeting!
Nominations must be completed, signed, and submitted on the Official Nomination Form (.pdf )(.rtf ) along with any additional background or other information. Nominations will also be accepted electronically by email.  Submit nomination to the currentPast President.
