The Legacy, Front Range Square Dance Center, Inc.
The Legacy is a brand new club made up of both individual members and, in the future, member clubs who are dedicated to dance.
Our goal is to own and operate a community dance venue, designed for dance, available, and affordable.
And we invite you to become a member!
The Square and Round Dance community of northern Colorado and southern Wyoming/Nebraska is promoting a grass roots movement of dancers who desire to preserve dance in our area for themselves and future generations. Having a community dance venue that is truly designed for dance and available to rent at an affordable price is necessary for their success. Because the Square and Round Dance community has a strong organization, we have taken the initiative to spearhead this movement.
Membership is now open only to individual members. For now, we want to make this a true grass roots movement. Membership will be open to clubs in the future. The cost of an annual Individual membership is $5.00 per person. The only requirement is that you be dedicated to The Legacy’s goal, stated above. Where you live or what type of dance you prefer is not limited.
How do you become a member?
Please mail your request to Dolores Daniels at 2813 McKeag Drive, Fort Collins, Co. 80526. Include your name, address, phone number and email along with a check for $5.00 per individual dancer.
OK……But why is important to become a member NOW?
Good question! True, there is no dance center yet. Right now we are working hard at gathering supporters like you….. because:
- You are someone who loves to dance and knows dancers have a wonderful legacy to leave to our community.
- Your $5.00 participation says you believe in this dream.
- The number of dancers who declare their support will have an important impact when we begin to write for grants and public funding.
Founded August, 2022, The Legacy, Front Range Square Dance Center, Inc. is a member of the Mountains and Plains Square Dance Council, Colorado State Square Dancers Association, the United Square Dancers of America. It is also a registered Colorado non-profit corporation and a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Tax-Exempt organization under the United Square Dancers of America (GEN) 6387.
